1288-1298 Howard Street consists of two multi-family housing structures at the intersection of 9th and Howard Streets, and will house 125 residential units. One building is four stories and the other is six stories above grade, and both buildings have a mat slab foundation. The six-story structure consists of a three-level concrete podium with one level below grade and two above, and four levels of wood framing above. The four-story building consists of wood framing on the mat slab at grade. The concrete podium includes Post-Tensioned concrete floors above grade. The total area of the building is approximately 180,000 square feet.
